Super epically cool and good
[edit]Thanks for the “CU block: LTA”
You know the thing that doesn’t even appear to have any valid google search results.
I’m glad Drmies Was able to provide such clarity as to why I’ve been blocked
104.57.10.110 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Firstly I apologize for the above. It’s late and frankly I’m rather cranky. I know at least that LTA stands for long term abuse though I can’t find anything regarding a CU block. But I’m appealing this so hopefully I can make an account finally as even that’s been disabled so I can avoid any repeats of this situation as I’m guessing I’ve been caught in a wide ranging block regarding someone’s misbehavior. Thank you for your time regardless. 104.57.10.110 (talk) 04:14, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I see no block on this IP directly. If you are using a VPN or proxy, you will need to turn it off, clear your browser's cache, and possibly wait 24 hours to edit. Otherwise, we will need to know the exact message that appears when you attempt to edit in order to give you more help. 331dot (talk) 08:06, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Still unable to edit
[edit]The exact message I get is
“You are currently unable to edit Wikipedia. You are still able to view pages, but you are not currently able to edit, move, or create them.
Editing from 2600:1009:B000:0:0:0:0:0/41 has been blocked (disabled) by Drmies for the following reason(s): CU block: LTA This block has been set to expire: 00:27, 25 October 2020.
Even if blocked, you will usually still be able to edit your user talk page and email other editors and administrators.”
I’ve tried clearing my browser cache and using other devices but this still persists.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
