User talk:103.30.142.163
October 2018
[edit]Your recent editing history at 2011 Indian anti-corruption movement shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- I have responded on your talk page. This is a dynamic shared IP. etc etc. 103.30.142.163 (talk) 06:59, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
If you wish to discuss the merits of your deletions in a civil manner, you are welcome to do so on the article talkpage. If you continue you edit-war, wikilawyer, or posture in order to have your way, you will be blocked. Abecedare (talk) 07:44, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- I am perfectly willing to discuss my deletions with any editor who is uninvolved. What I expect is an explanation from User:Sitush why he removed my edits without explanation or discussion. 103.30.142.163 (talk) 07:47, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- Incidentally I have verified that the last edit on the article talk page is mine and which awaits a reply, which you have failed to mention. 103.30.142.163 (talk) 07:49, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
