Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Harry Partridge has been reverted.
Your edit here to Harry Partridge was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://twitter.com/happyharrytoons/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 04:52, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

Hostile behaviour

[edit]

Information icon Please be careful about what you say to people. Some remarks, such as your addition to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Justin Stander can easily be misinterpreted, or viewed as harassment. Wikipedia is a supportive environment, where contributors should feel comfortable and safe while editing. Thank you. MrsSnoozyTurtle 10:06, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Disagreeing with somebody and calling them "apparently a junior editor" is not "hostile behavior", no more than your edit here is, where you're basically implying it's inconceivable an "IP account" could be correct while you yourself and others are wrong. You are yet to actually address the comments I've left in the deletion discussion. No valid argument for deletion has yet been presented.101.50.250.88 (talk) 05:42, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, those personal insults against me go against WP:CIVIL. And the exchange below is another example of hostile behaviour- what started as a simple request rapidly escalated because you went straight for the jugular. Please desist. Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle 08:18, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Refusing to argue the topic at hand while dishing out uncivility of your own also goes against WP:UNCIVIL. So let's just stop this pointless "no you!" and discuss the relevant policy on the relevant page.101.50.250.88 (talk) 08:22, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That is some impressive Whataboutism right there! It has nothing to do with the current issue, which boils down to "please calm down and treat other volunteers nicely". MrsSnoozyTurtle 08:42, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, 101.50.250.88. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted.

Do you have a conflict of interest with Harry Partridge? Are you being paid to edit the Wikipedia article on Harry Partridge? ––FormalDude talk 04:01, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a completely unfounded accusation and I don't think levying it at me just because I think he's notable (!!) and happen to have ADHD (meaning I'm prepared to spend a considerable amount of time on this) is anything but harassment. There's absolutely no interest of conflict whatsoever regarding Harry Partridge or any other article I've edited. I have never received any form of payment for editing Wikipedia. I live in Japan, as is obvious by my IP, not Swindon. I'm not even British.101.50.250.88 (talk) 04:10, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have ADHD myself. It is not an excuse for bludgeoning discussions to death. ––FormalDude talk 05:25, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There's "word soup" which you've accused me of, and then there's being so blunt you don't even attempt to make a point. I have continuously actually improved the article and sought consensus on the talk page for things I knew you'd disagree with and gone further lengths than most to avoid edit warring, do you deny this? Why is it so hard for you then to assume good faith and behave civilly? Seriously, why don't you just consider excusing yourself from this whole business as it's apparent you've latched onto it in an unhealthy way after I accused you of bastardizing the article (which, in fairness to myself, you really did)? The litany of incivilities you're constantly showering me with is not reflecting well on you as an editor.101.50.250.88 (talk) 05:33, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
1. I have never "bastardized" the article like you continue to claim. My contributions resulted in the article being improved, and that has been noted by others.
2. You have not continuously improved the article, I think most would view your constant barrage of poor sources and long walls of text at both the talk page and the AfD as evidence that it is clearly you who has an unhealthy attachment to the topic.
3. Do not tell me to recuse myself of this topic when you are then one who hasn't edited anything else in over two weeks. I am not letting this dispute stop me from being productive on other areas of the encyclopedia, as you are.
4. Your behavior is largely consistent with COI editing behavior. I have every right to ask if you are being paid to contribute given your tenacious editing.
5. If you have a problem with my editing conduct you can take your complaints to WP:ANI and stop casting aspersions. ––FormalDude talk 05:44, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
LOL yes I'm the one casting aspersions here in this very particular section of my talk page. Let's stop this pointless back and forth.101.50.250.88 (talk) 05:57, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

AGF warning- level 2

[edit]

Information icon Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors. Thank you.4meter4 (talk) 12:35, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This was apparently posted in relation to me accusing another user of Wikihounding here: [1] which led User:4meter4 to immediately jump in and claim he looked at the other users edits and found no reason to assume WP:Wikihounding, and instead choose to post this warning on my talk page. That he looked at the evidence is either a bold-faced lie or a misunderstanding of some sort (assuming good faith here):
User:MrsSnoozyTurtle posted her deletion vote [2] a mere minute (!) after posting this on my talk page: [3] where she even references another discussion ("the exchange below") I was having with another user about the Harry Partridge deletion article.
She wasn't "patrolling" AfD's and found the article that way - her most recent edit at an AfD had happened several days earlier: [4] (incidentally this is where our spat originated). It's obvious how she found her way to that AfD, that her vote was only motivated by malice, and that she spent no time whatsoever actually looking at the article/sources in question, and that this qualifies as WP:WIKIHOUNDING. The fact that User:4meter4 a couple of days chose to "repay" User:MrsSnoozyTurtle by voting "redirect" in the AfD where she and I were having a disagreement[5] certainly makes it seem as there's some case of WP:MEATPUPPETRY, WP:SOCKPUPPETRY or the very least WP:TAGTEAMing going on. 101.50.250.88 (talk) 06:09, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I see no need to defend myself against spurious allegations without any convincing evidence. Just looking at every conversation you've had on wikipedia in your edit history, there is consistent pattern of you attacking experienced and respected editors with allegations of misconduct which are not warranted. This is concerning. You are absolutely able to take this to WP:ANI. I hope you do, because the scrutiny you will be under there will probably lead to you getting blocked.4meter4 (talk) 14:56, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

AGF Warning level 3

[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to assume bad faith when dealing with other editors, you may be blocked from editing. Assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Wikipedia.. 101.50.250.88 your disruptive behavior is detrimental to community discussion. That accusation above is suspicious to the extreme, not based in any evidence, and has now constituted a level 3 warning. From all appearances, you seem to have a pattern of attacking editors with serious allegations who either disagree with you or challenge you in some way in very minor conflicts which should not resort to this sort of level of response on your part. If this behavior of unduly escalating conflict continues with myself or any other editor on the encyclopedia, I will be reporting you to WP:ANI in pursuit of a lengthy if not permanent block.4meter4 (talk) 14:33, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Previous accounts?

[edit]

Hello, are there accounts that you have previously used for editing on Wikipedia? The reason I ask is that this account's behaviour (a significant issue in itself) is unusual for one that has been editing for less than 2 months. MrsSnoozyTurtle 21:41, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
