San Andreas Myths (again)
I still fail to see why my edits merit removal using your reasoning. They're not 'original research' or lies, they're right there in the freakin' game!! There are pictures of UFOs in the Lil Probe Inn! Don't believe me? Walk in there yourself if you have the game! Like I said, I wasn't trying to make the myths out to be true, just adding their info as myth references. The topic was talking about UFO references, and I merely added another one. That's all. I fail to see why the vague reference to Men in Black in the game or the radio station quotes can stay, but my little addition can't. How come neither of these examples lack citations, but they're still allowed in the paragraph? If you want citations for new references, then you should be able to add references to these other examples as well. If it's pictures, citations, or videos you want, I'll be more than happy to include them as backup. But as I said, add citations/sources to the other references if you feel the need to delete mine.
Speaking of which, I deleted the last sentence of the "Mysterious Map" paragraph because it was already included a little further up, but you re-added it. I've deleted it again, but look and you'll see the info is still in the paragraph. Thanks for your patience, adios.
Phanos012 18:56, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- I read and understood your links just fine, thanks, but it's obvious you haven't read MY reply very well. I stated above that the other references to UFOs, such as the Men in Black and radio quotes, also lacked any citations whatsoever, yet you let them remain. So I'll ask again, how come you allow them to be in there if they don't have any citations? You're being hypocritical by letting them stay. As I said, I'll add citations if that's what you want, but you still have yet to do anything about the others. So until you add source citations to those as well, step off your high horse. Phanos012 19:19, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- For the last time, I didn't make this stuff up by myself, it is right there in the friggin game!!! So please stop it with that BS, I don't need you calling me a liar just because you haven't actually looked into this yourself. I know what original research is, so DON'T give me anymore links. What I'm saying is my info IS sourceable and that you're being a hypocrite by letting un-sourced info stay. I kept adding it because it was relevant and credible information and hadn't been included yet! I'm not introducing or reworking the stupid theory. I don't know what's so hard for you to grasp about that.
- And for the last time, stop putting that freaking sentence back in the "Mysterious Map" paragraph! That same sentence is already located in that same paragraph a little higher up! Why do you think I keep deleting it? Don't believe me, just look at it! How do you expect me to take you seriously if you can't even read?? Phanos012 19:46, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- And don't mess with my talk page. I'll remove the personal attacks, not you. Thanks. Phanos012 21:02, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Okay. I understand. But we do have enough information to build a stub article. When we get more and more info, we can keep building on to it until it is about as big as the Lance Vance or Ken Rosenberg articles. --Jimbo Herndan 01:45, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

You want to shorten the Plot section even more? I've already rewritten it to 1/3 of what i wrote before... I hesitate to do so again, the star wars entry seems bigger than ours...
Thanks. Is the person who wrote the original plot entry still around? I'm wondering if there was anything he/she wanted to keep from the original article. Bilalc 04:13, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

recent wp:aiv report
Hi, Klptyzm. You recently reported User:86.137.133.254 as a sockpuppet, but if you look closely at that user's talk page edit, they didn't sign as Butterrum, they just pressed the return key a couple of times before that user's signature. And that IP doesn't appear to have vandalized anything. So, please try to be less presumptive about calling people sockpuppets. Thanks, — coelacan — 04:21, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Just a friendly reminder to use an edit summary when proposing deletion for an article. Edit summary usage is always good, but it is especially important that edit summaries are used when proposing deletion. The reason for this is that articles proposed for deletion that later have the {{prod}} tag removed should not be proposed for deletion again, but rather sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. The only easy way to check if an article was previously proposed for deletion is to look at the edit history and the edit summaries people have left before. Thanks! Oo7565 18:04, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Jyggalag?
You removed my section about Jyggalag in the article about Daedric Princes, and I subsequently made this argument about why he should be included in the article, which I put in the talk page of that article.
Jyggalag is, as of the Shivering Isles, a separate entity from Sheogorath, who was not killed, simply freed from the curse placed upon him by the other Princes. For this reason, he deserves to be listed. Dantheman102100 20:17, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

If you check Vida's main website, vida'sworld.com, one out of a few that she answers personally to. You don't want me to make anymore changes to her wikisite fine, but I believe you're breaking a rule by putting up false information. After all, aren't we supposed to be posting valid info.? Check vida'sworld.com (forum opinion section of the forum index; page: #31-comment: #3), you'll see that I'm right.
Aboddie6 04:59, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
I said what I said not to call you or anyone else a liar, but because false information was posted. I understand that people lie on the internet, but then again, I also understand that sometimes mistakes are made, and maybe that's what 1974 is, simply a mistake as opposed to a lie. My only real problem with you is your verbal attacks other members of wikipedia. I believe other rules include NOT verbal attacking others, and yet you have. Rules put aside though, I never did like people who felt it was okay to attack anyone else, verbally or otherwise, but at least you had the decency to post both of Vida's birthyears on her wikisite, so I give you brownie points for that.

Notability of Shop Boyz
A tag has been placed on Shop Boyz, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Finngall talk 22:17, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- (shrug) I'm not psychic--I can only assess an article based on what's there, not what's going to be there. All articles I speedy-tag remain on my watchlist until they're either deleted or the tag is removed, though. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks. --Finngall talk 22:37, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well, since I don't spend all my time here, leaving the tag up means it's flagged for any admin to come have a look, and given the hangon tag and the amount of work that's been put in since, it should get a fair evaluation. But please don't hurt your case by referring to these guys as "up and coming". "Up and coming" usually equals "not notable yet", which in turn equals "not notable". If I had a dollar for all of the self-proclaimed "up and coming" bands who try and post articles here, I could retire. --Finngall talk 03:47, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I agree with Finngall. Up-and-coming bands where the only source is their own MySpace are almost without exception deleted, and when such deletions are challenged they are almost always endorsed. Guy (Help!) 10:22, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Hello, I am an employee for Universal Republic. I am currently editing information for the Shop Boyz wikipedia page and came across your message. It is imperative to have an indepth biography section for Shop Boyz in order to maintain their explosive image. I would appreciate it if you could inform me how an indepth biography section is a violation. An immediate response would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello. I noticed that you've recently reverted a user by the name of UniversalRR. While I agree with you that their edits were not neutral, their edits were being done in good faith, and thus not vandalism.
This user has recently written to OTRS. I have explained to his/her the policy of NPOV, and suggested that he or she post to the talk page of the article, outlining the problems with the article. Should he or she actually do so, it would be very helpful if you or someone else could take a look.--§hanel 18:26, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
- They are, in fact, a Universal employee (a PR person). I have explained to them already that they should not edit the article. I know you did try to explain to them, but this person is probably not very familiar with Wikipedia policies and might need a few gentle bops on the head if they still don't get it.--§hanel 20:57, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

- So if you're calling my edits fancruft, surely this isn't fancruft (along with all of these articles? Davnel03 19:39, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- OK, go ahead, revert it, delete the templates, I don't care. Davnel03 21:00, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Song in Curtains Down level...
Yeah but I'd still like to know what the song is. Talk about rudeness... TheHeartbreakKid15 14:56, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
I have no idea what your dispute is over, but I have blocked Savoie for incivility and racist language. --Dweller 14:47, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- I have to note, however, that you have also been somewhat incivil. Please do not abuse other users, even if they provoke you. --Dweller 15:01, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Original research and Riddick
This is concerning your 00:03, 11 August 2007 edut and explanation (here's your explanation: ORIIIIIGINAAAAAAAAAAAL RESEEEEEEARRRRRRRCH.
In your edit, you deleted the only paragraph in the whole article that included a footnote and outside reference (although the footnote didn't seem to be working properly for some reason): "In the first movie, Riddick recounts having been abandoned as a baby in a "liquor store trash bin with an umbilical cord wrapped around his neck," but in the second, he is the child of prophecy who mysteriously survives a Massacre of the Innocents on his home planet of Furya.[1]"
By the "original research" logic, it seems like the whole article should go. Where is that fuzzy line that distinguishes non-referenced acceptability and too original?
