Perhaps you would like to explain in Talk:History of the Eurovision Song Contest why you feel there should be a separate article called The History Of The Eurovision Contests. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 00:28, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Britain's Got Talent (Series 1), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. I have nominated Britain's Got Talent (Series 1), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Britain's Got Talent (Series 1). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 19:33, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Dance Contest"

[edit]

A page you created, Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Dance Contest, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is vandalism.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thanks. Addionne (talk) 18:05, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your potential request for adminship

[edit]

Hi there. I have declined the speedy deletion request on the RFA page that you are working on and have moved it in to your userspace for you to continue to edit. You will find it here User:001012A/001012A. I have also looked at your contribution history and whilst it is fantastic that you want to help Wikipedia by taking on an admin role I think that you should perhaps consider waiting until you have had a little more experience before applying as I fear that at this point your request would not succeed. There are no hard and fast rules but most members of the community look for a minimum of 3-6 months editing and 3000+ edits including experience of admin related areas such as WP:CSD, WP:AFD etc. What ever you decide to do I wish you the very best of luck and hope to bump in to you again. kind regards, nancy (talk) 18:24, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of Eurovision winners has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

List of Eurovision Song Contest winners already exists, and there is no good reason to join it to a list of Eurovision Dance Contest winners.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. An editor has identified a potential problem with the redirect Possible debuting countries in the Eurovision Dance Contest and has thus listed it for discussion. This discussion will occur at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2022 March 4#Possible debuting countries in the Eurovision Dance Contest until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. -- Tavix (talk) 03:50, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
