References
[edit]You have been adding a lot of material about the buildings and temples at Lotus Lake, but you have provided no sources for these additions. Wikipedia content must be verifiable by referencing reliable sources. Without such sources, your changes may be removed. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:38, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
The article Tianfu Palace has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The notability of this building is not clearly established. Also, the writing is of such poor quality English that any attempt to correct the English would be fruitless, as it is not at all clear what meaning some of the text is meant to convey.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:07, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
Unreferenced content
[edit]You have re-added all of the unreferenced material to Lotus Lake, and added a slew more of poorly referenced material (food guide referenced to a Yahoo blog). Was there some part of my previous message about requiring reliable sources that was not clear? Please explain why this material should be kept with such a lack of reference material. Please stop
[edit]Please stop adding content from the Chinese Wikipedia, it is so poorly translated that it is of no real use to anybody. Your contributions would be welcomed more at the Chinese language wikipedia--Jac16888 Talk 18:14, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
Hello, 陳承劭. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Cih Ji Palace, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Skrelk (talk) 05:01, 3 January 2013 (UTC)

Nomination of God Temple for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article God Temple is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/God Temple until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Skrelk (talk) 19:19, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
Dragon and Tiger Pagodas
[edit]Hello, My name is Starship9000 and I just want to let you know that I improved the article Dragon and Tiger Pagodas and I fixed things in it. If you have anything, please leave a message on my talk page. --Starship9000 (talk) 03:51, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
Dear 陳承劭: You recreated this article after it had been previously deleted, but you have not made the English better. I have marked it for attention at Wikipedia: Pages needing translation into English, but I have to agree with the editors who have left messages above saying that your English is really not good enough to be working here. Please realize that this does not say anything about the significance of the topics, but unless you can write articles in clear English, you are only making work for others who have to fix them. Cih Ji Palace is not understandable to someone who does not already know about the topic. For one thing, the content about worship suggests that it is about a temple, not a palace. Is this true? - I am worried that this may be a copyright violation of the Chinese Wikipedia. --21:09, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
- Technically, if one translates text from another Wikipedia (or copies text from another article on English Wikipedia), there should be a statement to that effect in either an edit summary or, for a translation, a template - there are templates for both the article itself and the talkpage. (With rough translations that I work on, I usually wind up adding such a template after I finish fixing the article to be clear English and not leave out any important points.) But it doesn't much matter in this case anyway, since the content has all been removed, leaving just a one-sentence statement that was added by another editor to explain what Cih Ji Palace is. If you mean the Chinese Wikipedia article could have content that is a copyvio, then we have to leave that up to the editors over there :-) Yngvadottir (talk) 21:53, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
- Is the Chinese Wikipedia's license are compatible with ours? If not, the it may be deleted. --Starship9000 (talk) 01:01, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
- Yes of course it is. The issue is just one of attributing the work to the editors over there who did it. However, even if that was the basis for the text this editor put on the English Wikipedia, it's a moot point because that text is no longer in the article. If an editor who can read Chinese and wants to improve the article comes along, they can decide whether to use that text, to translate from the Chinese Wikipedia, or both, and attribution is only needed in the middle case. 陳承劭, if you translated from Chinese Wikipedia, the big problem is that the translation is not comprehensible English, not that you didn't put the translated text template on it. If you translated from somewhere else, you should have made a footnote. Yngvadottir (talk) 05:05, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
