Tagging pages for speedy deletion
[edit]Hello, 虹易,
Please do not tag pages for speedy deletion, CSD G5, unless the page creator is the confirmed, blocked sockpuppet of a ban evading editor. It might be helpful for you to review Criteria for Speedy Deletion so you are more familiar with what the criteria are, when they apply and to which name space. It is also not appropriate for you to tag pages for speedy deletion just because no one has commented in an AFD discussion. Please let the deletion discussion continue and be closed by an uninvolved editor or administrator. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 06:31, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Liz:Hi, Liz. Thanks for your kind advice and I feel sorry for that. The two deletion discussions were opened by myself earlier because I did not know there is a G5 criteria. So when I learned about G5, I was trying to let discussions quickly end since there did not seem to be worth much discussing. Now I realize these actions are inappropriate. With respect to 89Football, I supposed its creator Roogérs.Joosé was globally blocked while it is not yet. Previous SRCU on meta (m:Steward_requests/Checkuser#Stella_Phang.40zh.wikipedia) has confirmed a group of sockpuppets technically which includes this account. But I just notice the fact that neither the steward nor CU of enwiki have confirmed the relation between that group and WP:Sockpuppet_investigations/123Aristotle/Archive#06_January_2022. I am going to seek the help of CU or stewards to check that.--虹易 (talk) 07:01, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
- Following up from your question here [1] about 123Aristotle, I'd assume the reason why they're not locked is that nobody's reported them to m:SRG yet - you're free to do that yourself. If you're unsure about the relationship of these accounts to the master, I'd ask Sotiale at SRCU. Spicy (talk) 10:13, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
