Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; however, please remember the essential rule of respecting copyrights. - Hello, Ma'am Diannaa!
- Thank you so much for reaching out to me regarding this matter. After reading the details of this message, I have decided to leave a direct reply to avoid confusion about the matter.
- I have checked the article mentioned above as well as the source that I have used for the information. Consequently, I have noticed that I did paraphrase the information that I had gotten from the source and properly place their website as a reference. However, found in the 'publications' subsection, I think that was the one that has been scanned as "copyrighted". I would like to ask if the copyright will be overcome if I manually type it instead (yet still in the same format)?
- I look forward to your future response. Thank you very much! 独自の言葉で (talk) 06:04, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry for the delay in replying. Content I removed was copied from https://mathshistory.st-andrews.ac.uk/Biographies/Carre/, and it was content in the early life section, interest in mathematics, and challenges. — Diannaa (talk) 14:02, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. The best way to do this is to include it in your edit summary (e.g. “translated from es.wiki”) and there’s also a translation template you can add to the talk page. If you can confirm where material for this article was sourced I’ll add the template to the talk page for you if it is needed. Happy editing and please leave a message on my talk page if you need any help Mccapra (talk) 13:09, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
Editing speed
[edit]Hi @独自の言葉で, I hope you don’t mind my asking, but I was curious about your editing speed. I can see you’ve had several bouts of editing where you have made changes to a disparate collection of articles in rapid succession, often going at an edit per minute. Can I ask how you are doing this? Barnards.tar.gz (talk) 23:13, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
