Oud article additions
[edit]Hi, I started to read your comments on the oud article and will finish reading them when I can give your thoughts more attention. There have been some political standoffs in that article in the past, but no reason that it shouldn't be improved by someone with knowledge. The biggest problem in the past was lack of sources for assertions (which would prevent arguments). Just writing now to let you know that I'm interested in your ideas and support expansion of the article.Jacqke (talk) 14:42, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
- I just went over the text you added. Thank you! That was good information. I changed the text a little, to make it sound better, but the meaning should still be the same. I reworked the beginning of the Oud article, to make the introduction start with the modern era. After that I added the historical information (including your text). I hope you like the changes. I do appreciate your additions. Sincerely, Jacqke (talk) 11:18, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- If you have any books or websites that talk about the information you added, I would be glad to help you include them in the article. Sources of information will make your work even more valuable.Jacqke (talk) 11:22, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
