Regarding Myanglung's mendings

[edit]

Hi,Ganesh sir With the respect to the editing Myanglung, i have found that you have mentioned just two boarding schools but It doesn't enough only with this so,there are missed two more & I have added them along with even though they are being removed why? The total names of boarding schools will be completed by including 4 school.Mahendra Niraula (talk) 08:19, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi, Ganesh sir,I am trying to amend it with hard reliable sources & citations since i began to write about it but i couldnt have succeeded yet, hower i think, my efforts to the editing process are still going on.You have raised a issue touching to afflicitions those i missed or included already but, if i should include them in editing, ah,i do them with great excitments. Anyway, nice to have your suggestios.Mahendra Niraula (talk) 10:59, 17 March 2015 (UTC);[reply]

The article Premejung has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No context, no sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Eeekster (talk) 00:17, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I have moved the article you created, Wikimedia Nepal, to User:गणेश पौडेल/Wikimedia Nepal, a sub-page of your userpage. It is not clear at this time whether the Nepalese Wikipedia is worthy of its own article, and rather than deleting it, I thought you might appreciate being able to keep a draft to work on. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. --Deskana (talk) 17:49, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Krishna Mohan Shrestha, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lalitpur (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). A tag has been placed on Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. BigDwiki (talk) 06:03, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Dekendra Thapa

Hi, I'm Anne Delong. Ganesh Paudel, thanks for creating Dekendra Thapa!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please add titles to your references. I've done the first one for you. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Sarada Municipality, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://hewgill.com/~greg/wikiblame/simple/Asyut.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Do you have a bit of background on Mahendra Niraula for me? His edits on Myanglung give me often headaches. Or he is just not a writer (some people have that) or his English and competency is in fact too poor. But I do not want to get the whip out or rewrite his efforts... @The Banner: Yes, Ganesh, can you please help that editor? He has been editing a lot but causing a lot of problems, some of them because he is using a touchscreen phone and adding and deleting characters at random and some because he does not understand how wikipedia works, and his English is very confusing. See his talk page. I don't know whether he is capable of usefully editing the encyclopedia. PamD 13:41, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. Formal mediation has been requested

[edit]
The Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Nepal Bhasa". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 5 January 2016.

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:05, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation from Wikipedia Asian Month 2016

[edit]

Thanks for partipating Wikipedia Asian Month last year, and I hope you enjoy it. Last year, more than 7,000 articles contribute to Wikipedia in 43 languages in Wikipedia Asian Month, making us one of the largest event on Wikipedia. We will organize this event again in upcoming November, and would like to invite you join us again.

This year, we are lowering down the standards that you only need to create 4 (Four) articles to receive a postcard (new design), and articles only need to be more than 3,000 bytes and 300 words. We are also improving our postcard sending process, e.g. making the postcards right now, and collecting the address after the event ends without waiting other languges.

Wikipedians who create the most articles on each Wikipedia will be honored as "Wikipedia Asian Ambassadors". We will send you both digital copy, and a paper copy of the Ambassador certificate.

Thank you for considering! --AddisWang (talk)

Non-Notable additions

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to List of novelists by nationality appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 14:29, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ranju Darshana, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Nepali and National College. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thank your for your effort, and please continue to get the articles ready for publication. But they should stay in Draft space until we can get them all moved in one go. This is important as we will need to coordinate with the monument database, so as to not cause a disturbance during the ongoing Wiki Loves Monuments contest. Maybe for simplicity keep a list of lists which are ready for publication. Thanks again for your effort. Agathoclea (talk) 15:45, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Make Lepcha Wikipedia with me?

[edit]

Ganesh Paudel, will you help me make Lepcha Wikipedia with me? Also, I have been turning the Limbu Wikipedia Main Page into Limbu script from Devanagari. Could we do this with Lepcha Wikipedia as well? (I have seen you are not very active on Incubator but plz?)
Signed, Bumsowee (talk | contribs) 08:48, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Bumsowee Thanks for reminding. This was pending because I didn't hear from Lepcha language community. I'll try to connect them.--Ganesh Paudel (talk) 10:57, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much! I am really into Lepcha script and Limbu script at the moment. BTW, which country do you live in? I’ve heard you’re a great contributor to Nepali Wikipedia. Bumsowee (talk | contribs) 15:47, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Also, @Ganesh Paudel: what connection do you have to the Lepcha people? I’ve always wanted to go to that area of Nepal to find out about Kaithi, Sherpa, Lepcha and Limbu scripts, but never had the time or money. 😁 Have fun though! Bumsowee (talk | contribs) 15:56, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Bumsowee: Sure, Limbu and Sherpa speaking people have respectively a significant number in Nepal. My birthplace belonged with Lepcha rulers in the history. Currently we can find lepcha settlements around there. I have some Lepcha firends as well. Lepcha neighborhood is the reason of my concern. I want to help Lepcha Wikipedia as well as Limbu and Sherpa. How do you want me to help in this regard? BTW where do you live? --Ganesh Paudel (talk) 17:53, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Ganesh Paudel: I live very far from you, I live in Cambridge, England, so I can't see you in the next 5 years! I would like you to input the text in Lepcha (Devanagari script) and then I'll put it into Lepcha script. Is that OK with you? I have already made quite a few pages but the translation probably isn't that good. You could also change that.
I'll add a link to Limbu, Lepcha and Sherpa Wikipedias here to make it easier to get there. Have fun editing! Bumsowee (talk | contribs) 19:06, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
