Thank you for the talk page message and further explanation. Please note your edits to Mumiy Troll had a few problems:
- You deleted the categories and templates in the bottom section of the article, which disrupts article presentation and categorisation of Wikipedia articles; please avoid doing this without good reason.
- If there is an official site for the artist, then individual social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter do not need to be added (see WP:LINKSTOAVOID)
- Most importantly, since you represent the band, please take some time to review Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines, as mentioned below: Dl2000 (talk) 15:01, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
Conflict of interest guideline
[edit]Hello, Эвис. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 15:01, 20 September 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Pickette. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Mumiy Troll without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! - Hi Эвис. A fellow user has commented to your response on my talk page but just in case you haven't read that, I'll reiterate it here. If you are the media-manager for the band, then you would not be permitted to edit the article yourself as it would be in clear violation of the conflict of interest policy and may result in blocking sanctions or similar loss in editing privileges. However, you may wish to raise points via the article's talk page for other Wikipedians to update the article accordingly, which would avoid any breaches in WP:COI. If you can list concerns and changes you'd like to be made to the article on the talk page, I or any other users can take a look at them and try to add them to the article should such changes both make sense and be able to be backed up by a reliable source. Hopefully this helps! Pickette (talk) 20:01, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
