Welcome!

[edit]

Hi, Виктор Не Вацко, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question.

However, there is a small issue with your username. As it is in a non-Latin alphabet script it may not display correctly for many other users. Although usernames like yours are not prohibited, Wikipedia's signature guideline and username policy encourage you, as a courtesy to other users, to alter your signature so that it also includes a transliteration of your username using Latin characters, so others can see it correctly. For the how-to of tailoring your username, please see WP:CUSTOMSIG.

Thanks, and feel free to message me about anything. RA0808 talkcontribs 17:13, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Kicker

[edit]

Kicker changed its results in a top 40 all-time ranking called Die legendären Weltklubs published in March 2014. Also, it was not the only magazine to have med these kind of publications.--Danteilperuaviano (talk) 23:11, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Heavyweight into Longest reigning heavyweight boxing champions. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 17:17, 7 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Valeriy Lobanovskyi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Canada national football team (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:50, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Vitali Klitschko

[edit]

How is this notable in an already VERY cramped lead section? It belongs in a Legacy and historical standing section. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 19:06, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it not notable? I mean, this way we can remove anything from the lead section of any fighter's article. Not only Vitali Klitschko, but also Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao etc. And simply keep "he is/was a professional boxer, he is a former/current world champion". It is pretty notable, there is a very small selection of fighters to reach such number in the heavyweight division. So if you want to remove such information from the lead section, you shall apply this on any boxer's article. Виктор Не Вацко 19:17, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, OK, 15 fighters.. not all that impressive when several of them were scrubs like Kirk Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Sosnowski, and Charr. Making ten defences is a more impressive stat. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 19:23, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
"Scrubs" or not, it does not matter. 15 fighters is still an impressive number. And well, he made those ten defenses against "scrubs" like Kevin Johnson, Sosnowski, and Charr, so by this logic, it is not an impressive stat either. P.S. I don't think his fight against Kirk Johnson was a title fight (but I see the point you're trying to make). Виктор Не Вацко 18:43, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Renat 21:12, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
