Please read the policy. (Go on, click on this link and read it.)
Note particularly that:
Non-free content may only be used on the English Wikipedia when all 10 of the criteria are met;
Minimal usage: Multiple items of non-free content are not to be used if ... Read it please; and
Minimal extent of use: An entire work is not to be used if a portion will suffice ... Read it please.
Also, please:
Check and make sure that the image has a valid source;
Make sure that the image has a valid Non-free use rationale (NFUR - A guide can be found here);
Make sure that the NFUR specifies the correct article for which the rationale was written (see WP:NFCC#10c).
Please note that I do not want to see images deleted, but:
All images must comply with policy;
The consistency checking is done by software - if it detects that there is no currently valid NFUR, that's because there is no currently valid NFUR (As the uploader, it is your responsibility to maintain valid NFURs, NOT mine);
A generic template tag is NOT a valid Non-free use rationale;
All non-free media must have a rationale for each (and every) usage;
The rationale must specify which article it applies to.
And if you're here to say: But <place image name here> is just like my image and isn't tagged for deletion, that's because I haven't gotten to that image yet. When I get there, it, too, will be tagged if it doesn't have a currently valid NFUR.
