Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Çelebicihan, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to George Keburia have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 15:33, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. The article Kseniya Shoygu has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not clear what the claim to notability is, as a lecturer she doesn't meet WP:NPROF; creating the sporting event seems unlikely to meet WP:GNG - perhaps a redirect to that article is an option
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Melcous (talk) 07:14, 24 February 2019 (UTC)

Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline
[edit]Hello, Çelebicihan. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 10:29, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
Image without license
[edit]Unspecified source/license for File:AliyaProkofyeva.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:AliyaProkofyeva.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Bevza (logo).png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Bevza (logo).png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. CptViraj (📧) 09:07, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Svitlana Bevza, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Non-free rationale for File:OlegHolosiy.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:OlegHolosiy.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89 (T·C) 22:16, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for November 25
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Yury Mosha, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Waukesha and Portland (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:41, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Sergei Savateev
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Sergei Savateev, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Praxidicae (talk) 18:37, 28 November 2019 (UTC)

Can you tell me where this information came from? I'd be happy to put the information back in, but per policy we need some sources. Thanks for your help. – bradv🍁 19:31, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
- Good evening, dear bradv🍁! I have Russian-language sources with which I will share with pleasure with you [1], [2], [3] Çelebicihan (talk) 21:27, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for the explanation. Feel free to add them back in with a citation, even if the source is in Russian. Note that we can only use self-published sources for non-controversial claims, and a reliable source is always going to be better. I wouldn't use the uznayvse.ru source for anything. – bradv🍁 21:43, 28 November 2019 (UTC)

Julie Pelipas moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Julie Pelipas, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The file File:The Naked Bar.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused image about spammed subject intended to be used in UPE spam by the uploader (Çelebicihan), who was blocked for sockpuppetry and spamming.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Çelebicihan (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Dear administrators! I very much ask You to unblock my account. I'm ready to clear up the whole situation. I come from Ukraine, but I live in Moscow, so English is not a native language for me. I read in the rules of the English Wikipedia that it is permissible to use two accounts, but I did not understand in which cases. I admit that I used two nicknames: "Çelebicihan" and "Silavysoty". I admit my mistake and I would very much like to take part in editing the English Wikipedia under one account. I promise not to create any more new accounts and to follow the rules of Wikipedia. I would like to make it clear to You about my contribution. I was accused of writing on Wikipedia for money. This information is not true. I'm willing to provide any evidence that I don't work for money. My area of interest: these are outstanding people in Ukraine, Russia, and Georgia. I am interested in Ukrainian designers, I am very impressed by their contribution to the world fashion industry. In particular, I wrote articles about Vita Kin, Julie Pelipas, Svitlana Bevza and others. When writing articles about designers, I was guided by the criteria of significance, the presence of publications in reputable independent media, such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, The Telegraph, The Wall Street Journal, The Times and etc. All the designers I've written articles about have such publications. Also in my sphere of interests are public figures, philanthropists and charitable foundations of the post-Soviet space. In particular, I wrote articles about human rights activist Yury Mosha, philanthropists Dimitry Dikman, Olga Fler, charitable foundations Rybakov Foundation and Meet For Charity, and others. Here I was also guided by the criteria of significance and availability of publications in independent media. For example, such media as Forbes, RBK Group, Izvestia, Kommersant, Vedomosti and other significant media in Russia and Ukraine. Regardless of the administrator's verdict, I ask you to restore my contribution to the main space and rid my articles of the stigma that they are paid. I am ready to prove and fight for the truth that I wrote all the articles for free. I lost a lot of energy to create these articles. I spent a lot of time writing materials and adding media publications to articles. I really don't want all my volunteer work to disappear. I really ask for help, at least in this matter, and I will be very grateful to You! Congratulations on the New Year 2020, all the best and best wishes in the new year. Thank you! If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The article Emil Dervish has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
There is a lack of reliable sources coverage of this architect. Most of his projects are small- scale such as individual apartments and the references in mainly niche publications consist mainly of photographs with a lack of biographical detail. It is also the work of an undeclared paid editor.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Your draft article, Draft:The Naked Room

Sockpuppet investigation
[edit]An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Çelebicihan, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

The file File:The Naked Room (new logo).jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused, creator has since been blocked and the article they created this for moved to draftspace and deleted.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Elli (talk | contribs) 18:24, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
