I am Ziwen Sun. This is my second year in MSIS program in University of Pittsburgh. I am from Zhumadian, a small city in the middle of China. ·In the past few terms, I mainly focused on big data things, including data mining, database, information retrieval, and algorithm. On the other side, I know how to design a good poster and advertisement. However, in the past project creating an IOS app to support signal processing, I made a poor user interface where a lot of people were confused about the layouts and icons. By that time did I realize I should take this course to fill the gap in my knowledge. By the end of this term, I will be able to create a clear, powerful, effective and user-friendly app interface. ·I took my undergraduate degree in EEE in UK, one of the most charming country in the world. Also, I had a big data intern in the summer mainly focusing on information retrieval. I am proficient with Java, R, MySQL, and MongoDb, and know the syntax of C/C++, Ruby, JavaScript and Matlab. During my spare time, I love comics, fashion, design and travel. I have more than 6-year experience of using Photoshop and Illustrator and have been to many countries. I hope that I can find good partners who are powerful in programming as well as making fiends with guys who have same hobbies with me.
