Zimkitha Ngaleka was born in 1996 in Cape Town in Nyanga Township, she grew up in Strand in a small community called Lwandle. She attended her lower grades at Methodist Primary School in Somerset West. She attended her upper grades at Eersterivier Sekondary Skool and matriculated in 2013. After finishing high school she studied at AFDA, The School for the Creative Economy School of Media in Observatory, Cape Town, she studied performing arts. She currently working at Lwandle Migrant Labour Museum in the Department of Collections.
