Hao Zhang (Harry) is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Southern California. He graduated from Peking University (China) in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science. From 2020-2021, he was a Senior Research Assistant at China Earthquake Administration. Since 2021, he has been a Research Assistant at the Southern California Earthquake Center, working with Prof. Yehuda Ben-Zion. His research focuses on developing an improved framework for earthquake physics using various theoretical tools and observational results. His current research interest is evaluating earthquake hazards in California.
