Tips for list updates:
Use the general reference already cited.
Update the date listed in the article to match the date when the reference was last updated. For example, Baseball-Reference.com typically has a note like "time of last update" on its pages. Do not use the date when you made the edit.
Update the entire list according to the reference. Note: only information for active players needs to be updated. Some inactive players may need to be removed from the list.
