Victory Parade in Russia (2020) The victory parade was initially canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it was still held, and the date was changed from May 9 to June 24. There were some foreign guests like the President of Serbia, the President of Moldova and other important guests, but veterans of the Great Patriotic War were the main guests, because they are heroes of the country so they were sitting near the President of Russia

The parade was held in Moscow and other cities in the 24th of June. The date is exactly that, because the first Victory Parade was held on the 24th of June in 1945. 13 thousand soldiers, 234 units of equipment (like tanks or armored cars) and 75 planes and helicopters took part in this parade. There were new units, like T-90M tank, and a lot of people wanted to see it. This year people could visit the Parade like in normal times, but they had to pass a COVID-19 test, it helped in keeping people in safe from coronavirus

Victory Parade in Belarus was held in the 9th of May (traditional date), but parades in other countries were cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic
