This is my user page for my translation class.

WEEK	PROCESS	TIME	CHALLENGES
1	Created Wikipedia account and learned how to edit articles. At home I worked on translating a section about Hans Haustein with Leonie.	90 mins class, 30 mins home.	I struggled to get my wikipedia page started.
2	Started to work on the article "Albtrauf" with Ilana and Mirjam.	90 mins class, 120 mins at home	I found it very difficult to translate geological jargon and to make it sound natural in English when I didn't fully understand the content of the article.
3	Continued work on Albtrauf and proofread my Ilana and Mirjam's sections.	90 mins class, 90 mins at home	Same problems as last week.
4	Translated Paul Luchtenberg with Leonie and Johanna	90 mins class, 90 mins at home	A few difficult phrases but it was relatively straight-forward.
5	Proofread the others' sections of Paul Luchtenberg. At home I created the page and added links. I also redrafted my section.	90 mins, 60 mins home	It was difficult to come up with good translations for lengthy, complex German sentences.
6	Started to work on Heilig Geist with Leonie.	90 mins class, 90 mins at home	Struggled to find translations for words like "Spitalkirche" and "Hospizkirche"
7	Leonie and I proofread each other's work and we added the finishing touches to and published "Holy Spirit (Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm)" at home	90 in class, 30 mins at home.	We found architectural and church-related jargon diffcult to translate.
9	I started to work on "Paramount Park" with Leonie. At home we finished translating this.	90 minutes class, 60 minutes	Everything was fairly easy this week.
