Zeng Yuming (Chinese: 曾宇明; born 22 January 1997) is a Chinese footballer currently playing as a defender for Rizhao Yuqi.
Club career
[edit]Born in Wuchuan, Zhanjiang, Guangdong, Zeng's interest in football began when he would go to watch his father, an amateur footballer, play in matches.[1] He started his own footballing career when he was scouted by the Guangdong Football Association, before playing for Shenzhen Nanshan Youth.[1] In 2014, he was scouted by Shandong Taishan's Brazilian coach, and invited to join the Luneng Football School, alongside teammate Zhang Yuanshu.[1]
He would routinely travel to Brazil to train, and was among the substitutes for Desportivo Brasil in 2017.[1] In 2020, he was loaned to Beijing BSU, but again was only a substitute on one occasion.[2]
