Dr. Sanguan Nittayaramaphong (March 18, 249 - 18 January 2008) was a doctor with outstanding performance in pioneering and pushing the universal health insurance program in Thailand. The government that took this policy to practice is the Thai Rak Thai government called "30 baht to treat all diseases". He reserved the first Secretary-General of the National Health Security Office (NHSO), adjoining until death. And he was the 8th president of the Rural Medical Club (1985-1986). He was praised as "The Statesman of the Thai public health".[1]
