Ynnis is the user name of a German historian and translator, specializing in the field of Ancient History (Britain, Ireland, Germany), Early British history as well as Graeco-Roman and Germanic religion.

He studied at the Technical University of Dresden (Germany), the Humboldt-University of Berlin and at Keele University (Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, U.K.).
