Biography
[edit]Composer, song writer and producer, Yazan Haifawi began his musical journey in the independent arabic music scene when he released his first single'Wainek Min Zaman' in 2011 [1], which led him to
become one of scene pioneers in the region in this genre of music. Prior to that Yazan had formed several bands before becoming a solo artist.
Yazan is a multi-instrumentalist and writes his own lyrics, composes music, records it and plays most instruments recorded in his songs. [2]
Following his first single ‘Wainek Min Zaman’, which achieved great success, Yazan released 'Ya Raitek' to be featured in one of the top TV series 'Zain' [3] which aired on major TV stations such as MBC and others across the Arab World. He also composed several theme songs for various TV series, including the popular series 'Female' [4] and others.
Yazan participated in various music festivals in Jordan, Egypt [5] [6] [7] and the ME region, and was also part of the European Arabic music festivals that took place in various European countries.
He released his debut album 'Wahad' that consisted of nine tracks in 2015, and is currently working on new singles that are expected to be released in the summer of 2020.
