About Me
[edit]My name is Michael Meyer, and I am an attorney residing in Chicago. I have degrees from Duke University (Juris Doctorate) and the University of Iowa (Bachelor of Science, Economics). I was born in Iowa and spent my childhood in Council Bluffs. I am somewhat fussy as an article contributor/editor.
Areas of Expertise
[edit]Law, government, religion, politics, the Midwest region of the United States
Interests
[edit]Iowa Hawkeyes football and men's basketball, music, film, food, modern art, wine and beer
Political Bias
[edit]I have voted mostly for Democrats starting in 2004 and would describe myself as Center-Left. I am a registered voter in the State of Illinois. Nevertheless, my intention in editing articles is clarity, proper citation, and truthful narrative. While I do believe that fact is a more important virtue for editors than balance, my hope is that my personal politics are not evident from my contributions to Wikipedia.
