Thomas "Tom" Pursglove is the British Conservative Party candidate for Corby in the 2015 General Election.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Born in Kettering in November 1988, Thomas Pursglove attended Sir Christopher Hatton School and received a degree in politics at Queen Mary, University of London.[2]
Political career
[edit]In 2007, Pursglove was elected to Borough Council of Wellingborough at age 18, at the time one of the youngest in the country. He is currently the Chairman of Overview and Scrutiny.[3] On April 7, 2013, he was announced as the Conservative Candidate for Corby.[4][failed verification] He is also the Director of the "Together Against Wind" national anti-wind farm campaign.[5]
Personal life
[edit]In his free time Tom is an avid swimmer and cricketer.
