Hello - I'm a long time Wikipedia user and have often thought of learning to contribute and edit, so I finally made the plunge.

I was a career Army officer and then have volunteered or worked for/with a number of non-profit organizations. I believe in the Wikipedia mantra of what I call "Just the Facts" and support any substantive input I make with citation and/or sources.

I realize that my working with different non-profits and other organizations over time both gives me the knowledge to contribute here, but also the risk of writing with bias or apparent conflict of interest. I have no intention of writing with bias, and welcome edits and inputs from others.
