Climate change article:

The article prefaces with “For current and future climatological effects of human influences, see global warming,” and I think it is nice that it has that direction right in the beginning so as to not waste my time if that was what I was looking for instead of climate change. I found that not each fact is referenced with sources but that may be because the facts are primarily from one source so it is not cited again and again. I found that the entire article was informative and not off topic or distracting. Climate change in a broad topic so I think it did a good job covering the bases. I think the article was very neutral and stuck with scientific evidence. Looking at the sources, they appear neutral and the links work. In the human influences section, there is a large quotation from United States National Research Council, Advancing the Science of Climate Change.

I am sure there is more to be added since climate change is something that is being constantly looked at and more evidence is being collected from new technology. The talk page pf the article has a good discussion about 2 redirects to 2 different articles. The article is a level 4 – vital article and as B class.

I think that the fact that this article is semi protected is logical because people can misconstrue evidence or flat out lie about scientific evidence to support their claims or somehow benefit themselves. Politics is an example where big companies that make millions off trashing the environment somehow would not want you to know that their activities are harming the planet. So I think that it is definitely a good thing that this particular article is semi protected because false information about climate change can have irreversible effects.
