World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF) was founded in 1988. Chen N Low owned and operated the WNBF & Cheh Low Publishing's Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Magazine in the Empire State Building.
HISTORY
In the late 1980's The WNBF was the premier natural bodybuilding and fitness federation in the United States and abroad. Former WNBF President Steve Downs, was the chief editor of Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Magazine and he also helped run events for the organization. Former Vice President Charlie Carollo, the promoter of the trademarked event Hercules was in charge of the organizations drug testing program which utilizes both polygraph and urinalysis testing to ensure athletes have complied with it's WADA compliant anti-doping policies. The organization continues to implement a strong off season or "out of season" testing program and this testing is always unannounced to it's Professional athletes.
In 2014 the International Natural Bodybuilding Federation (INBF) and WNBF was purchased by former WNBF Professional athletes Bob Bell, Nancy Andrews, and Tina Smith. President Nancy Andrews, Vice President Bob Bell, and Secretary Tina Smith have continued to focus on strong drug testing, education, and domestic and international expansion to continue to build the natural approach to bodybuilding and physique competition.
From 2016 to 2021 natural bodybuilding and the WNBF began to expand exponentially internationally. With it's already strong affiliates in Australia, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom leaders from over 32 have joined the WNBF and it's World efforts in unified drug testing it's athletes to the highest standards.
DRUG TESTING POLICIES
In 2018 the WNBF adopted a 10 year drug free policy against illegal steroids, growth hormone, peptides, SARM's, and other performance enhancing substances (PED's)
