The wars of Jahiliya (in english: wars of the pre-Islamic era), or the wars of the days of jahiliya, or the days of the Arabs, refer to the wars that took place before the prophethood of Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace). They were usually between the tribes of the desert, but there were also wars between the kingdoms of the city, such as the wars of the Lakhmids and the Ghassanids. Sources claim that the wars in that period amounted to 1,700 wars, of which only a small amount has reached us in detail.
