I'm not afraid to try new things, I'm ready and willing to challenge conventions. I bring to the table a variety of job experience, across many skills and product areas. My success keeps me moving forward by thinking big and dreaming bigger. I have always believed that the right people can do big things. I want to dream up and design products, and business solutions that are changing the ways people find information, do business, communicate, learn, and most importantly purchase. My number #1 rule is to focus on the user and all else will follow. Remembering hope is not a strategy, my goal is success by design, not just luck, that can be replicated and scaled out. I have found that keeping a healthy disregard for what people say is impossible, helps my progression and keeps me motivated, keeps me humble. My knowledge of online media combined with communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow for my clients. Using my influencing and relationship-building skills, I provide the best-caliber client service, research and market analysis. I anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business, and in turn grow our business too.
What I do: Google consultant, Digital Marketing Strategist, and Director. My passions - in no particular order, international development, sustainability, global public health, appropriate technology & renewable energies.
Cards on the table: I'm currently working and collaborating with several groups with a primary focus of leveraging converging media and Google tools, to help companies stand out in a world of mediocrity.
Oh, Wikipedia...: I'm concerned that Wikipedia is losing its civility. I'm concerned that there's not enough encouragement, too much deletion rather than organized efforts to improve articles. I'd like to see deletion as a good faith process, transwikiing or moving pages to userspace rather than officiously deleting them.
Wikiholics unite: On Wikipedia, I've contributed to several subjects though my role, as a director and marketing strategist, my main objective is building creative and strategic partnerships.
