In 2009 was the Ritter Energie- und Umwelttechnik GmbH & Co. KG as Holding introduced. 2010 was the „Ritter XL Solar GmbH“ for commercialization of large-scale solar plants founded. So the work yard of underground trains in Coney Island(U-Bahn-Waschanlage) got an 164 m² large Solaranlage by Ritter (instructed by the New York Power Authority).[5] 2011 the turnover of Ritter Energy was about 83 Millions Euro.[11]
