Life Is Expensive is the second studio album from the hip-hop group Time Machine, released on May 16, 2008. The album was released almost exactly four years after the release of the group's debut album Slow Your Roll. The title of the album is intended to reflect the group's challenges balancing a musical career with the realities of covering their costs of living. CokeMachineGlow described the album as "a sunny record of artistic disenfranchisement, a shift in their style copping to their theme."[1]
