The Nation of Islam is a Black supremacist new religious movement and self-proclaimed nation based in Detroit that was founded by Wallace Fard Muhammad in 1930. It has, of course, called itself an actual nation, having a “national anthem”, a “national flag”, and an “army”, called the Fruit of Islam. Its current leader is Louis Farrakhan.

Despite being a self-proclaimed nation, however, it has no territory, as it is an organization only.

It borders no country, as it has no territory.

Its religion is a combination of Islam and UFO religions like Heaven’s Gate, Raelism, Fiat Lux, the Order of the Solar Temple, or Scientology. This religion was inspired by Islam and Christianity. It has no holy texts of its own.

It also holds controversial and racist beliefs, like how White people are devils created by a mad scientist named Yakub and that Black people are the original people who are descended from the Tribe of Shabazz, and thus, superior.
