The Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is a premier national-level examination conducted annually to facilitate admissions into the prestigious Indian Maritime University’s undergraduate programs. Launched in 2008, the IMU CET serves as the gateway for aspiring maritime professionals to embark on their journey in fields such as B.Tech, B.Sc, and Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS). Paper Pattern

The Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) follows a computer-based test (CBT) format. The exam comprises multiple-choice questions designed to test a candidate's proficiency in five key subjects:

Mathematics: 50 questions

Physics: 50 questions

Chemistry: 20 questions

English: 40 questions

General Aptitude: 40 questions

The exam consists of a total of 200 marks, and candidates are given 3 hours (180 minutes) to complete it. Each correct answer awards 1 mark, while each incorrect answer results in a deduction of 0.25 marks. There is no penalty for unanswered questions.

Elligibility
