Assignment for SOC314, "Sociology of Gender" My 3 of 5 potential topics are:

1) Mary Garrett - female suffragist and philanthropist

2) Jean King - member of the Hawaii senate

For this page, I would like to add on to her accomplishments or ways she improved the state of Hawai'i as the Lieutenant Governor. For her Politics, I think there could be more said for someone who'd be representing women during the years she served in politics. Also I would like to add onto what King did after she served as Liet. Governor of Hawai'i.
