Music

I'm a musician from Cuba. I love playing music, especially jazz and salsa. I play guitar and bass. My favorite music to listen to and play is from Spain, Brazil, Cuba and the U.S. Music has always played an important role in my life. When I was a teenager I began practicing the guitar. I spent a year in La Casa de la Cultura where other young kids would go to learn thinks like music and art. I later began school to become a music instructor in Cuba. I played in various orchestras, smaller groups and individually. I've recorded for artists and recorded my own songs. I was also chosen to participate in a special class of traditional Cuban music that has never been offered again.

I was born and raised in La Habana, Cuba. I lived there until I was 30 years old. Cuba is a country full of music, culture and traditions, with a tropical climate and beautiful beaches.
