Better known as "WhyYaSay" Olamilekan Lawal(July 28 1992) is an up and coming Nigerian singer, songwriter and composer, who's urban Nigerian influenced stage name was borne of a need to shut naysayers up.

Born and bred in the Mafoluku / Bariga axis of the commercial city of Lagos, Nigeria.

WhyYaSay attended Ijegun Primary School and Ijegun Senior Comprehensive High School, before proceeding to the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, where he bagged an ND in Art and Literature.

Discovering the muse in himself at a tender age with a leaning to Afropop, he became an underground singing sensation at street carnivals and other gigs, before deciding to record his first joint in 2016.

The unsigned hype's songs Ori, JoJo and Drip amidst others have continued to win him accolades and increased fan base while collaborations on joints with up and coming acts including but not limited to Godillac, Emzy Dollar, Nishola and Julysingsong has seen his profile continue to rise.
