Armin Arlert (alt. "Armin Arlelt") is a fictional character from Hajime Isayama's manga series Attack on Titan.
Creation and design

[edit]Armin is one of Eren's childhood friends. Both of Armin's parents are dead, after Interior Police member Djel Sannes killed them for trying to escape the Walls via a Hot Air Balloon.[1] After this point, Armin is raised by his Grandfather, who in the Anime, is himself killed in a government-ran operation to retake one of the Walls from the Titans. [2] During his childhood, he shows Eren Yeager an illegal book about the world past the Walls; This became a major influence on Eren throughout the series.
