About Firestar

Firestar started off as a kittypet, named Rusty. Like his father Jake, he loved the woods and wanted to see beyond. He goes to the edge of the woods and meets a wild cat named Graypaw, who claims to live in a wild cat clan. The leader of the clan, Bluestar, saw how brave Rusty was, and invited him to join the clans. Rusty joins and receives the name Firepaw. He is mentored by Bluestar, and goes on many adventures as the main character of the book series, before Bluestar dies after making him deputy, making him leader of ThunderClan. He mates with a cat who used to make fun of him, Sandstorm. They go on a journey to save SkyClan and have two daughters, Squirrelflight and Leafpool.
