Guma Wau (born August 8 1960) is a Papua New Guinean politician. He was the member of the National Parliament of Papua New Guinea from 2007 to 2012, representing the electorate of Kerowagi Open Under the United Resources Party. He was the Minister for Culture, Arts & Tourism under Somare-Temu cabinet and then Defence when Peter O'Neil became the Prime Minister in 2010-12. Wau was a Salesman and a former Profersonal Heavy Weight Boxer at Lae, Morobe Province before entering politics in 1988 when he was first elected MPA (Member of the Provincial Assembly) at the age of 28 representing Lower-Koronigle Constituency in Kerowagi District Chimbu Province. He got re-elected again in 1993 until the National Government Abolished all Provincial Government systems in the country in 1995. He contested Kerowagi Open in 1997 but lost to the then incumbent MP John Kamb. He was defeated by Camillus Dangma Bongro at the 2012 National election.

Guma Wau hails from Dagle tribe, of Kerowagi district Chimbu Province, he was born in Bungeli village in Kerowagi Chimbu Province, he is the 3rd born son of Chief Wau Bige and Molamb.
