Wikipedia:Featured lists (commonly known as FL) is a fantastic and increasingly varied project. However, there are still some high-profile gaps, both in well-covered and under-represented topics. The following are lists that I think should be considered high priority. I believe that all of them could and should be brought up to FL standard in future; most, but not all, may be suitable candidates to be Today's featured list one day.

Being listed in this section is not in any way an indication of current quality.

I always enjoy reading lists that offer something different. If you know of an existing, non-featured list that would fit in with the ones below, please contact me on my talk page.
