AM broadcasting began 1920 while FM broadcasting was introduced in the late 1930s and was a little better than AM broadcasting.

Guglielmo Marconi was also the one who successfully made the first radio broadcast, meaning he was working on it for around 10 years before his invention became successful.

They started the radio in Bluff Bland Rock Massachusetts which was right next to a sea and the people sailing there ships on that sea got to experience the broadcast while on sea so that amazed them.

After the first radio broadcast, radio broadcasting kept growing and growing and getting more and more popular and amazing tons of new people. In the 1920’s is where it hit its most- popular stage, getting most people with money to listen to them. After the 1920’s the radio was grabbing tons of people's attention because it was one of the first ever successful inventions, 2nd in line with the telephone which was invented in 1876. As of today radios have grown to be really, really advanced, at least a lot better than the ones in the 1900’s. In the first radios they didn't have any buttons and an expensive and good radio was one with around two buttons which now a cheap radio for us would still have at least four buttons. By mid-decade in the 1920’s a decent radio could be purchased for about $35, with higher quality models being sold for up to $350, now a decent radio can be purchased for around $50-$100 and a really good one could be purchased with up to $5000!
