[edit]This article is about the intentionally leftover water that is gained from the boiling of a Hotdog in water (For cooking) or colloquially speaking, Hot Dog Water.

Hotdog water, is the remaining water inside of a kitchen bowl or other pot/container after the process of boiling the sausages that will be used in Hotdogs or subsequently eaten on their own. Hotdog water is not considered a drink due to it widely being considered as broth[1][2]. However there is also an argument to be made that it is not broth due to it being its own meal (Similar to the Ice Cream Sundae). The only real qualifier of being Hotdog water is having a similar taste of water and Hotdog combined whilst having the water be exposed to some form of sausage. This type of water has never once been tested by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and has never truly gained any form of radioactive testing nor has it been approved by the FDA.
History
[edit]The origin of Hotdog Water is technically unknown, however, it is believed to have been created intentionally during the early 20th century in the United States due to the Limp Bizkit Song Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water and Unintentionally created around 1870 as of currently known Hotdog boiling records. While the most recent actual purchase for Hotdog water itself was during the 2018 Car-Free Day festival in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada which was sold as a mockery toward "Health Conscience" food brands. The dish has entered "Meme Status" via the internet. Its existence is widely met with either disgust or sarcastic praise as a very fake miracle health cure from those who know about its existence.
Hotdog Water is usually boiled in a pot however it is also acceptable to use a crock pot. Once cooked, it can be served either hot or cold (Please note that drinking Hotdog water can have very severe side affects ranging from cardiac arrest to mild stomach issues and there have been no real health tests done on this dish). It can be drunk on its own, or served with crackers, bread, or other accompaniments. There is a variation of the Hotdog water recipe that can be found here[3].

1 or more Hotdogs
Enough water to submerge the Hotdog/Hotdogs
Instructions
[edit]- Bring a small pot of water to a boil.
- Add 1 or more Hotdogs. Boil uncovered for 4 to 6 minutes, until the hot dog has plumped up on all sides.
- Remove Hotdog/Hotdogs with tongs or other utensil
- Serve to a temperature of your choosing to the unfortunate souls that must consume the Hotdog water
- (These next steps are optional)
- Repent.
- Cry.
- Suffer as you have now created your own frankensteins monster.
- Add Parsley for more flavor.
