The Tarantino/Rodriguez Universe is a series of films by Quentin Tarantino[1] and Robert Rodriguez that connect through a series of characters that places them in the same universe as each other.
The main connection is Earl McGraw, who first appeared in 1996's From Dusk Till Dawn,[2] which later appears in several other films.
Films
[edit]The films in the universe are connected mainly through the characters of Earl McGraw and Machete Cortez, which includes the From Dusk till Dawn series, the Spy Kids series, the two Grindhouse films and the two Machete films.
The only film in the universe that wasn't written or directed (or from a movie series by either) by either Tarantino or Rodriguez to contain characters from the universe is Curdled, written by Reb Braddock and Jon Maass and directed by Braddock. The film features the character of Kelly Houge, who first appeared in From Dusk till Dawn and also shows photos of the Gecko brothers. Tarantino, however, is a producer of the film.
Characters and Films
[edit]For a character or film to appear on the list, the character must appear in at least one film outside their original film/series. The 3rd From Dusk till Dawn film does not appear as there is no character from that movie who appears in any other film outside its series.
List indicator(s)
- A dark grey cell indicates the character did not appear in the title on screen.

Chronological Order
[edit]Like many film series, many of the films do not take place in the year they were released. Often, they take place through a series of events.
Based on events and character, this is the chronological order the films take place:
- From Dusk till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter
- Death Proof
- Planet Terror *
- From Dusk till Dawn
- From Dusk till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money
- Curdled
- Machete
- Machete Kills
- Spy Kids
- Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams
- Spy Kids 3D: Game Over
- Kill Bill **
- Spy Kids: All the Time in the World
'*'=The mentioning of a character's death places the events after Death Proof '**'=Flashbacks show events that take place before From Dusk till Dawn
