This is a documentation subpage for User:WVRMad/Smileback. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original user template page. |
Purpose
[edit]Many users use {{smile}} to lighten a user's their day, whether a old mate or a fierce rival/vandal turned good. So why not smileback and show your appreciation? This means that when someone gives you a {{smile}}, you can show how much it has livened your day! You can use this template to notify a user that you have noticed their smile on your talk page and are now full of wikilove.
Usage
[edit]Just place:
{{User:WVRMad/Smileback|You user name here}}
on the talk page of the user who has smiled at you.
Yep it's that easy!
Notes
[edit]- This template may cause display errors if used in a section header; it is best to use it on a line by itself.
- If you are going to use this template, please consider putting the following notice on your own talk page:
If you smile at me, I will respond on your talk page by using the {{User:WVRMad/Smileback}} template. |
You this by copying the following code:
{{Notice|'''If you [[Template:Smile|smile]] at me, I will respond on your talk page by using the {{tl|User:WVRMad/Smileback}} template.'''}}
- This template is very suited to be placed inside a person's shoutbox (if that user has one) instead of the talk page, because the shoutbox is periodically cleared. You can add a shoutbox to your self by adding {{subst:Shoutbox}} at the top of your talk page.
