[edit]Hello, my name is Sam! Welcome to my crazy beautiful life. I am night time deli manager at a grocery store and I live on a farm, so i am always working. I don't mind it to much! On my free time I try to hang out with my friends or get catch up on my reading. I recently started doing Instacart and that is a lot of fun. Instacart allows you to shop at local grocery store then a shopper will pick the order and after delivery it to you the same day. [1] I been doing it for a side job. Lucky I work at grocery store knowledge I can find the stuff the customer wants really fast.
Article Evaluation
[edit]I been into building Lego since I can remember but it’s just now that I am finding big Lego sets that will take me awhile to build and keep forever. I visited the Lego article on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: the history, design, and set themes.
The History
[edit]Lego was invented in 1932 by a man named Ole Kirk Kristiansen from Billund, Denmark. He started with the company by making wooden toys. In 1947 Lego started producing plastic toys and in 1949 they produced interlocking bricks calling them “Automatic Binding Bricks”.
Design
[edit]The “Automactic Binding Bricks” are still used today, the six bricks 2x4 can be combined in 915,103,765 ways! There are approximately one hundred and twenty designers at the Billund headquarters. The company has smaller designer offices in Spain, Germany, UK, and Japan. The average time to develop a new Lego set take about twelve months to do.
Set theme
[edit]Since the 1950s, the Lego company has released over thousands of sets. The company has come out with variety of different sets, space, dinosaurs, undersea, wild west and etc. They came out with set from movies, cartoons, and some videos too, for examples Harry Potter, Star Wars and Batman.
Summary
[edit]I love doing Lego set, I can do them for hours! I smoke a little green, put some music on and starting the set. I don’t look at my phone when someone text m, I kind forget it about until someone calls me. I think Lego was a great invention and really any age can do it. I have about ten Lego sets and I live in a smaller trailer, I am about to run out of room. But I cant stop building Lego sets, the colosseum set I really want almost 10,000 pieces but got no room for that. One day when I have a house I’ll get it and build it!
