The Society for the Preservation of The Great American Songbook (SPGAS) is a foundation established in 2008 Dick Robinson. Dick Robinson is best known from his tenure as an air personality (DJ) at WDRC-AM in Hartford, Connecticut and his years as founder and owner of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
SPGAS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that has, according to it's official mission statement, dedicated itself to "memorialize the music and the artists, create interesting ways to appreciate the art in school classrooms and to make enjoying the music easy and fun for generations to come."
