Master's in Intellectual Property Laws is a two-year master's programme offered by the Indira Gandhi National Open University[1] in partnership with Rainmaker Training & Recruitment Private Ltd[2] . This programme typically has 2 batches, which start at a 6- month interval each year.[3]
The programme was first offered in 2008 and is currently in its 3 year of operation. Since then, 2 batches have graduated. The batch of 2011 began in August 2011. The next batch of 2011 will begin in January 2012.
The programme is divided into 4 semesters, and offers a total of 11 courses within law. It also requires students to submit a research paper in the last semester of their programme and together with the 11 courses, this makes the entire curriculum of the programme. The programme is highly popular with both law-based and non-law based professionals and students. Since it is a Master's programme, it is only offered to students who have a Bacherlor's degree (the field of the degree does not matter).
