A series of Marvel Comics variant covers incorporating imagery from existing hip-hop album and single cover art. The result is a crossover between the Marvel Comics universe and old school to present day hip-hop culture. Marvel released these hip-hop variants during their reboot into the All-New All-Different Marvel Universe with the intention to tap into a new fanbase.

The eventual wave of hip-hop variants began with the popularity of Run the Jewels comicbook variant covers released in April 2015.^[1]. Following the popularity of these variant covers, Marvel decided to explore other hip-hop artists and albums. The hip-hop variant covers received it's first wave in October of 2015 in parallel with Marvel's All-New All-Different universe, where many of the hip-hop variants were assigned to first issue releases of All-New All-Different Marvel titles.
